The wild turkey is one of the most challenging animals to hunt with a bow and arrow. Their eyesight is their strength, which is why most bowhunters choose to use a ground blind to conceal themselves. The ground blind allows a bowhunter to remain hidden and draw their bow without getting spotted.
The drawback is a ground blind isn’t very mobile and keeps a hunter in one position. If you want to be mobile, you’ll have to ditch the blind and embrace the challenge of hunting turkeys without a ground blind.
In the above video, Greg Clements of The Hunting Public offers advice for bowhunting turkeys without a ground blind.
