Some of America’s best-known figures are hunters: Daniel Boone, Theodore Roosevelt and even Jack Nicklaus. Likewise, the bowhunting world has a few celebrities of its own – people who are famous for their hunting prowess, knowledge and entertainment value.

These hunting celebs host TV shows, write books and are champion archers. Hunting celebrities also advocate for conservation and act as role models to bowhunters of all ages.

Few people match Fred Eichler’s genuine and infectious passion for bowhunting. He is a traditional bowhunter who loves to have fun. Eichler hosts the TV show “Easton Bowhunting TV” and has completed the Super Slam – harvesting each of the 29 big-game species native to North America – with his traditional bow.

Cameron Hanes

Cameron Hanes is a strong advocate for being a fit hunter. Hanes is an author, fitness guru, and one of the best western hunters. His podcast, “Keep Hammering with Cameron Hanes,” is ranked in the top 10 on iTunes. In addition to being a bowhunter, Hanes is also an ultra-marathon runner. In 2016 he conquered the Bigfoot 200-mile race in Washington at the age of 48; he most recently completed a 24-hour race.

Lee and Tiffany are known for their hit show “Crush,” where they chronicle their family life while farming and hunting. They live in the big-buck state of Iowa, where they carefully manage their property to produce world-class whitetails.

Samantha and Levi Morgan

Levi Morgan might be the winningest 3-D archer of all-time, but his wife Samantha has him beat in big buck harvesting. On their TV show, “Bow Life,” they hunt and compete together on the professional 3-D archery circuit. Levi is currently attempting to complete the Super Slam with a bow.

Steve Rinella

Rinella shares his wild-game cooking and butchering expertise and teaches hunters how to prepare and eat all edible parts of an animal.

Rinella’s work isn’t limited to writing and TV; he also champions for conservation and public land management. He educates the public on wildlife and public-land issues to preserve hunting for future generations.

She is also the first woman in 30 years to be featured on the cover of Field and Stream magazine. Shockey is an author and a great bowhunting ambassador.
